ALAN REED AND THE DAUGHTERS OF EXPEDIENCY

Alan Reed is a man in a hurry.
Despite having been diagnosed with Parkinson’s in late March 2025, he’s determined to get ‘out there’ as much as possible - until he can’t.
To that end he’s bringing his band, The Daughters of Expediency, to a venue near you.
He has an album to promote - ‘Grey Sky Thinking’.
In a nod to Pallas - the band he’s now rejoined - they intend to play at least 45 % of tracks by them.  Though they will make them their own.
Alan also has both ‘The Messenger’ and ‘Elemental’ (due some time before Christmas ) to promote, as well as a boxed set of the Inside Out Years.

TT TRANSMISSION

Formed in 1977, TT Transmission originally hailed from the Hampshire area became a popular Prog Rock band playing mostly university and college gigs in the south-east but notably Ronnie Scott’s and The Marquee.

Their style was heavily Influenced by bands of the era like Gong, Camel, Colosseum II, Genesis but all original material with a balance of vocal and instrumental pieces.

On 12th October 2024, some 47 years later the band reunited to play a special reunion gig at The West End Centre in Aldershot.  The original line up of Mark Terry on guitar and vocals, Stuart Manson on keyboards, Paul Bennett on Bass and Richard Houghton on drums performed their original set including Man From Down Under, The Goblin Party and Leaving You In The Lurch from their early recordings plus some new material from their forthcoming release ‘Normal Service Will Be resumed’.

The band are continuing their reunion with a series of gigs around the UK during 2025/2026
