The Dame (NL)
At the 1865

This Winter Machine  formed in mid 2016 after a series of ads led to jams that quickly turned into writing sessions. Members have shared a stage with artists as diverse as Marillion and Uriah Heep, Tim 'Ripper' Owens and Uli Jon Roth. The debut album 'The Man Who Never Was' was released in Jan 2017 to widespread critical acclaim and a great response from the public. They were nominated in the Best Newcomers category at the Classic Rock Society annual awards and have also been included in many 'Names To Watch' lists for 2017. They released their second album 'A Tower of Clocks' in June 2019

The Dame (NL)

A new Dame has moved into town!  She is sensual, feminine, and smooth... That is, until the
guitars start roaring. Try to tell her what to do, and… wait, no. Better not. Just trust us on
this one. She has a mind of her own, which makes an interesting new take on neoprog!
We like to describe our music as the sexy version of progressive rock. Our mission? We try to
give everything a feminine touch. Not just the music, but our entire look and feel. Just a little
more beauty, a little more passion, and a little more sexy chic.

The Dame is:
Marian van Charante –  Vocals & guitar
Stephen de Ruijter – Lead guitar
Michel Krempel – Bass
Thijs de Ruijter – Keyboards
Remco Engels – Drums
